This article is designed to guide you through the activation process of your Deep Exploration 5.5 Fixed Standalone License.

Deep Exploration 5.5 Fixed Standalone License can be activated automatically through the Internet (recommended) or Email Activation.

Requirements

To activate Deep Exploration 5.5, you will need:

- Deep Exploration 5.5 installed on your local machine.
- Your Activation Code - this is sent to you after purchasing a Deep Exploration Fixed Standalone License.
- Internet or email access

Steps for Automatic Activation:

Use this option if you have an Internet connection.

1. Enter your Activation Code in the 'Stand-alone Fixed License Activation' tab.
In the Deep Exploration main menu, click Help > Activate Deep Exploration > Deep Exploration 5 Activation > Standalone Fixed License, and enter your Activation Code.

2. Select 'Automatic through Internet Activation' and then click the 'Automatic' button.
Use this option if you have an Internet connection.

Note: if you have a firewall installed, please allow Deep Exploration to access the Internet. No further action is required

Steps for Email Activation:

Use this option if you do not have an Internet connection.

1. Enter your Activation Code in the 'Stand-alone Fixed License Activation' tab.
In the Deep Exploration main menu, click Help > Activate Deep Exploration > Deep Exploration 5 Activation > Standalone Fixed License, and enter your Activation Code.

2. Select 'E-mail Activation' and click 'Send E-mail'.
When you click the 'Send Email' button, you will be prompt to send an email with the required information to RH Support. If you do not have email access on your machine, you will need to transfer the required information to another machine which has email access by using removable media (e.g. USB key) or a local network connection.

3. In the 'Stand-alone Fixed License Activation' tab, copy and paste your License Key into the text field provided and click 'OK'.
Your unique License Code will be emailed back to you within 2 to 3 days. The license code should be copied (Ctrl-C) and pasted (Ctrl-V) into the text field provided and click 'OK'.
