User Interface
The user interface consists of an import dialog and an export dialog.
Import Options Dialog
The Import Options dialog is used to import .rh files. You can choose to import various components of the selected file.
Geometry: Imports all geometry within the file.
Animation: Imports all animation within the file.
Cameras: Imports all cameras within the file.
Lights: Imports all lights within the file.
Bones: Imports all bones within the file.
Textures: Imports all textures associated with the file. Please see the known issues for this release.
Replace with imported scene: Replaces the current scene with the .rh scene.
Merge with imported scene: Merges the current scene with the .rh scene.
Export Options Dialog
The Export Options dialog is used to export files to the .rh format. You can choose to export various components of the selected file.
Export geometry: Exports all geometry within the file.
Export normals: Exports all normals within the file.
Export textures: Exports all textures associated with the file.
Export cameras: Exports all cameras within the file.
Export lights: Exports all lights within the file.
Export animation: Exports all animation within the file. Please see the known issues for this release.
Optimize animation keys: Removes all redundant animation keys within the file. Usually an animation key is created for each aspect (x/y/z position, x/y/z rotation, and x/y/z scale) of each object regardless of whether that aspect changes. When a file is optimized, if the rotation, position, or scale of an object remains the same, only one x/y/z key is required to define the object's state throughout the animation. You can see the difference by viewing the number of keys for each object in the Deep Exploration timeline.
