New Features

Version 4.0.12 / 7.0.7

Deep Exploration CAD Edition and Acrobat 3D

  • A number of PMI markup types are available:
    • Text: Text markups.
    • Rich text: Special formatted text markups.
    • GD&T: Measurements, tolerances, material data, and reference datum.
    • Dimensions: Detailed dimension line markups.
    • Datum: Special reference points or planes for measurement markups sometimes shown as a single letter enclosed within a box.
    • Metadata: Attributes and properties that are associated with a part when it was created.
    • View, hide, edit, and delete PMI markups.
    • View metadata associated with the current file.
    • Modify the PMI markup settings.

Fixed

Version 4.0.12 / 7.0.7

Deep Exploration CAD Edition

  • There are no fixes for this first release of the PMI Module for Deep Exploration CAD Edition.

Acrobat 3D

  • PMI and JT combined modules:
  • Changes have been made to the JT Module to optimize speed and improve status reporting.
  • The 'Save as' option has been removed for .jt files as it is not currently supported.

Known Issues

Version 4.0.12 / 7.0.7

Deep Exploration CAD Edition and Acrobat 3D

  • The PMI toolbar buttons turn on/off all PMI data rather than data specific to the current model view.
  • PMI toolbar button highlight does not update when a new model view is viewed.
  • PMI fonts are outline fonts (double line) for PMI in CATIA 5 files.
  • PMI BOM list does not display CATIA 5 parts or part model views.
  • Incorrect orientation is sometimes stored in views when updating PMI model views.
  • The 'Wireframe arrows' setting is disabled for CATIA 5 files.
  • If there is no wireframe arrow information in a .jt file, the 'Wireframe arrows' setting is disabled.
  • If the PMI Module is not installed, only PMI data from .rh files that have been saved with PMI data can be accessed.
  • If you merge (drag into the viewport) a CAD model with PMI data into an .rh file with PMI data, the CAD model's PMI data does not display; that is, there are no views. However, any layers will be displayed.
