New Features
  • There are no new features for this release of Deep View.

Fixed
  • Model views with cross section enabled no longer crash Deep View.
Known Issues
  • When showing content in auto-rotate mode, locking and then unlocking machine with Ctrl Alt Del will result in the content appearing garbled.
  • Start menu option>Internet Update does not work for product updates. To update this product, launch Cortex and use File > Internet Update.
  • Problem with markups in scenes with reflection maps, when render mode is DirectX 9, and the Always on Top option is off.
  • Crash on exit from PowerPoint, Excel, and Word if the Wacom tablet driver is installed. Uninstalling the driver eliminates this problem.
  • Excel: Shortcut keys do not work if a cell is active in the spreadsheet.

Installation

Before installing Deep View at any time, we advise closing all applications.

Troubleshooting

3D graphics use more resources (memory) than 2D. If you experience memory difficulties, decrease the size of your screen resolution.

Product Versions

Version numbers for Deep View begin at release 3.0 in keeping with the Deep Exploration family of products.

The version number scheme is 1.2.3.4567 where:

1 = Major version indicator. This would be incremented for a major release.
2 = Minor release that indicates new feature release between major releases.
3 = Indicates a patch that includes fixes only.

4567 = Build number as an identification of the build that is released.
