These release notes describe and illustrate the features of this latest release of Deep Publish. They address any issues not discussed in the Help reference or Readme documentation and they include information regarding installation.
Please note that this document may be updated as more information becomes available.
There are no new features for this release of Deep Publish.
Fixed
Model views with cross section enabled no longer crash Deep Publish.
Known Issues
When showing content in auto-rotate mode, locking and then unlocking machine with Ctrl Alt Del will result in the content appearing garbled.
Start menu option>Internet Update does not work for product updates. To update this product, launch Cortex and use File > Internet Update.
Non-functioning convert to PDF toolbar buttons are created in Excel after installing Deep Publish. The ability to convert to PDF is not currently enabled in Excel.
Problem with markups in scenes with reflection maps, when render mode is DirectX 9, and the Always on Top option is off.
Excel spreadsheet embedded in PowerPoint slide cannot open by double click.
Crash on exit from PowerPoint, Excel, and Word if the Wacom tablet driver is installed. Uninstalling the driver eliminates this problem.
Excel: Shortcut keys do not work if a cell is active in the spreadsheet.
Installation
Before installing Deep Publish at any time, we advise closing all applications.
Sample models are available for use in Deep Publish. You can insert them into documents by choosing to insert from file and navigating to the Sample Models folder created as part of the Deep Publish installation.
Trial Period and Watermark
After installation, a 30-day trial period begins, during which full functionality is available. All content created with the product during the trial period includes a watermark. After activating the product license, you can re-save your content to remove the watermark.

Product Versions
Version numbers for Deep Publish begin at release 3.0 in keeping with the Deep Exploration family of products.
The version number scheme is 1.2.3.4567 where:
1 = Major version indicator. This would be incremented for a major release.
2 = Minor release that indicates new feature release between major releases.
3 = Indicates a patch that includes fixes only.
4567 = Build number as an identification of the build that is released.
