Michael Lynch, Chief Executive Officer


Michael leads Right Hemisphere. He is a successful software executive who helped grow 7th Level from 20 employees to a $70 million IPO. Michael has produced over thirty award winning Internet, education and entertainment software products for Learn2.com, Disney, Real Networks, IBM, Microsoft and Sony. Michael has been CEO of Right Hemisphere since June 2000. He has transformed the company from a small tools provider for graphics professionals to the global leader in Product Graphics Management software for Global 1000 manufacturers. Further, he has built an executive team of proven enterprise software leaders and has closed two rounds of venture financing with Sequoia Capital, Sutter Hill Ventures, NVIDIA, and other investors. Prior to software, Michael was a successful stage actor on Broadway and in television. Michael attended the Manhattan School of Music where he studied Opera.


Mark Thomas, President & Chief Technology Officer


Mark is an original founder of Right Hemisphere and guides Right Hemisphere's product strategy. Mark is an acknowledged expert in both engineering graphics (Mechanical CAD, 3D Visualization, FEA, CFD) and entertainment graphics (Game Animation, Special Effects, 2D/3D Video Editing). Previously, Mark founded CADS, New Zealand's leading mechanical CAD reseller. There he supported a wide variety of design and engineering projects including the CAD/CAM/CAE implementation behind New Zealand's winning Americas Cup challenge. Mark has a Mechanical Engineering Degree and Masters paper in Computer Graphics. He is also a graduate of the Auckland University School of Business.


George W. Earle, Vice President of Global Enterprise Services and Solutions


George leads our Enterprise Solutions Consulting, Technical Partner Management, Support and Education Services groups for both billion dollar, multi-national, manufacturing corporations & startups, with a consistent record of exceeding cost reduction goals, objectives & carefully managing P&L's. These groups are responsible for partner development and global customer value delivery. George's 20 year background includes business development, global solution deployment and technology innovation. He joined Right Hemisphere in 2005 from Blazent, where he established its Enterprise Software Services organization. Prior to Blazent, Mr. Earle was a founding architect and established Enterprise Services at Chordiant (CHRD), from pre IPO thru post IPO, now a $400M company. Additionally, Mr. Earle was the engineering VP of a Physician ASP company. Earlier, George held a variety of core leadership & technology innovation positions at Non-Stop Logistics, Trimble Navigation, and GTE Strategic Electronic Defense. George holds a BSEE/Computer Engineering minor from Northeastern University and has continuing studies in business administration, applied mathematics, and software architecture.


Dan Dapper, Vice President of Sales and Business Development


Dan is responsible for all Sales and Business Development functions for the company. Dan will lead the development and definition of the sales strategy, build and manage the company's global sales organization as well as execute Business Development Partnerships. Prior to joining Right Hemisphere, Dan was Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Aravo, Vice President and General Manager for the Western and Southern Regions of North America for Ariba Corporation, and has 27 years of sales and executive management experience within the software, engineering and high-tech industries. At Ariba, he managed a large, national sales team, developed an operational excellence program for forecasting and reporting, and was responsible for closing enterprise agreements for high profile, global clients in the IT, energy, and healthcare industries.


Robert J. Merlo, Vice President of Marketing

Robert (Bob) Merlo is responsible for all global marketing functions at Right Hemipshere. Bob brings more than 20 years of technical software marketing expertise covering a broad range of industries and application areas. Over his career he has helped foster the growth of several start-up companies and managed marketing organizations for Fortune 500 businesses. Prior to joining Right Hemisphere, Bob was the Vice President of Marketing for Autodesk's Manufacturing Solutions Division and served as CEO of ChipData Inc., which was acquired in 2005. Bob is recognized for his broad marketing and operational experience in software and services companies and for his significant background in enterprise marketing and business development for PLM, CAD, Internet, telecom and business process management software companies. Bob is a member, speaker, and author for the American Marketing Association (AMA), the Business Marketing Association (BMA), and the Direct Marketing Association (DMA). In addition, Bob is an SOA Expert Columnist and Contributing Editor.
